here is my story
I have been a chiropractor since 1994. I have a passion for Chiropractic and helping others improve their quality of life. Chiropractic focuses on nerve function. Stress really affects nerve function. Being Obese or overweight are one of the biggest stresses on the spine and joints, affecting the function of your nervous system. I was finding that patients were not progressing with their care because their weight was interfering with their healing. I, also, have struggled with being overweight since my 3rd child and started feeling the effects of being overweight. The busyness of life made eating regularly a problem. By the time I did get to eat, I tended to overeat. I was skeptical of the program. However, when I saw the results my brother and sister-in-law had, I felt I should research it more. Their transformation inspired me to give it a go. The accessibility of having nutrient rich, balanced meals, helped me to eat regularly and balance my blood sugars and lose weight. I felt more energy and better about myself. Balancing my blood sugar really helped with decreasing my mood swings, too. I like the convenience, taste and cost effectiveness of the meal replacements. I find I actually eat more than I did and I continue to lose weight to reach my goal. I am helping to coach patients on the Take Shape for Life program who are seeing great results & feeling better about themselves. Losing weight has helped patients to hold their chiropractic adjustments longer and continue to heal, reducing pain and inflammation. This helps the nervous system to function better. Patients are experiencing an improved quality of life! It is very rewarding to see how effective the program is, especially for those who have tried so many other programs without success. I love the TSFL program because it doesn't stop at weight loss, it helps us to help our clients implement healthy habits and Live Well!
